This community of practice session will focus on planning for transition out of college and preparing for adulthood skills development for learners in their final year.

This session will cover the process of a successful induction period including initial assessment covering vocational and functional skills assessments and exemptions, the co-creation of study programmes to meet learner needs, setting targets and tracking progress.

As part of the Community of Practice: Successful Planning for September this free session will focus on transition planning for success covering pre-enrolment planning, building a student portrait and planning their curriculum. Come along to meet other providers and discuss shared approaches.

As part of the Community of Practice: Behaviours of Concern this free session will provide an opportunity to focus on strategies for teaching, learning and supporting our learners with behaviours of concern. Come along to meet other providers and discuss shared approaches.

This free session will provide an opportunity to hear about tools and approaches used for evidencing embedding Maths & English into the curriculum.

As part of the Community of Practice: Preparing learners with SEND for adulthood this free session will provide an opportunity to hear about tools and approaches used to engage and motivate Non-Verbal Learners (NVL) with SEND.
