Linkage College is an independent further education college offering a specialist learning experience to people aged 16–25 with a range of mild to servere learning difficulties and disabilities, alongside associated behavioural, sensory and medical difficulties. Students are typically school leavers from special or mainstream schools and we design individualised programmes to cater for whatever needs a learner may have.
We have three campuses in Lincolnshire and one in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Many learners are day learners but we also offer residential placements for learners out of county.
Living at Linkage offers young people a chance to become more independent, make new friends and move into adulthood in a safe and supportive environment. Learners tell us that Linkage is a great place to live and learn, and parents tell us that they are really impressed by the continuity of support between college and home.
Your future and health and well-being are at the heart of our curriculum offer. Our curriculum is constantly changing to ensure that your needs and aspirations met and new opportunities are always available. We believe that you will learn more by ‘doing’ so you won’t be stuck in a classroom at Linkage College. Our project-based learning model means you’ll gain knowledge and skills through doing real-life, purposeful activities.
