Brentwood Community College

Brentwood Community College is a Specialist College for young adults with a wide range of complex needs including severe or profound learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions and associated communication, sensory, behavioural and health needs

Most students are from Trafford, however we do have some students from neighbouring boroughs.

We aim to equip each student with the essential life skills that they will need for the future as they work towards their Outcomes for Adulthood. We work onsite and with community partners to provide a range of relevant, practically based and highly motivating learning opportunities which enable students to explore their options and successfully transition into their adult lives.

Students are supported by a team of highly trained tutors, TAs, SEN assistants, therapists and external agencies to achieve their goals.

We are co-located with Brentwood School in a purpose built building with state of the art facilities including:

• 3 multi-purpose classrooms (college use only)
• Life Skills room (college use only)
• Fully hoisted hydrotherapy room
• Sports Hall and Dining Hall
• Two story Soft Play
• ICT room
• Music Room
• Yurt
• Outdoor Classroom, greenhouse, poly tunnel and chicken shed
• Outside areas including bike track, field, forest
• Minibuses
