The voice of specialist further education

Safeguarding network

This network is aimed at staff in member colleges who are Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) and others with safeguarding responsibilities. These meetings provide an opportunity for staff across our membership to discuss safeguarding responsibilities, updates to legislation and share good practice.

Networks are usually held online, approximately three times per year. If you would like to join the network, just turn up to one of the meetings. Outside of the network meetings, colleagues can ask questions and access support via our safeguarding discussion forum.

This network is chaired by Jane Ferguson, Natspec Board member with responsibility for safeguarding. If you have suggestions for any topics you’d like to see covered in future networks, please email jfergusonconsulting@outlook.com

Please check our Natspec networks page for details about all of our other networks.
