This training only covers ILR data returns for students funded under the 16-19 funding formula and high need funding system, including those aged 19+ with EHCPs. The training is therefore aimed primarily at specialist providers working with high needs students, not other providers who attract adult education or apprenticeship funding.
This training is suggested for those who have good experience using the ILR or have already attended our New to ILR training.
We send student information to government via the ILR, but do we fully understand what story it tells about us and our learners, what work we are doing and importantly, the quality of that work?
As a follow up to our “New to the ILR” workshop, we look here at a practical application of the cycle of returning Individual Learner Records (ILR), and the analysis of data checking, error reports and their resolution. We explore use of the Funding Information System (FIS) and Provider Data Self-Assessment Toolkit (PDSAT) and also visit the quality reports used in Public Funded Audits (PFA), analysed by Ofsted and published in Qualification Achievement Reports (QAR) data.
These reports are vital – they indicate the errors in our data as well as its integrity and validity, and contribute to future funding for our organisations.
If you have not explored these reports fully, or you have them but are not sure what impact they have or their importance, then this workshop is for you.
