About the students

Pathways provides a highly supportive, personalised alternative to mainstream education for young people with SEND and SEMH needs who may have struggled to succeed in traditional settings. We welcome students from Year 10 onwards and offer a continuous journey through to age 25, ensuring stability, meaningful progress, and strong preparation for adulthood. Our provision focuses on nurturing emotional wellbeing, building confidence, and developing essential life, social, and vocational skills alongside a flexible, achievable curriculum. Through therapeutic support, tailored learning plans, and a calm, relationship-led environment, Pathways helps each learner re-engage with education, overcome barriers, and move toward positive, sustainable futures.

Catchment

We accept students from Leicester City, Leicester County, Nottingham County and Derby County. 

Curriculum

Student led qualifications including GCSE’s, Level 1 & 2 Functional Skills Maths & English, Arts Awards Bronze, NCFE, Asdan, A Levels Maths, Psychology & Sociology, Employability, Life Skills & Travel Training.
