About the students

About the Students
At Liberty Training, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to better themselves. We help young people aged 16-25 develop employability and life skills in a fun and friendly way, using a combination of activities, hands-on learning and unique teaching methods.
We have a relaxed atmosphere in our college, and our team aren't like traditional teachers- we are more like motivational speakers or support coaches. We don't just teach you the skills you need but are there to help and guide you in all areas of your life. Our experienced team are down-to-earth and approachable and will support you through your training programme making each step of your journey an enjoyable experience.

We understand that each of our learners is unique, and we respect and embrace their individual differences.
Yes, you get qualifications when you come to us, but you get much more! You learn new skills, get to try new things and meet new people. The qualifications we offer range from Entry Level to Level 2, are government approved and are sought after by employers. We have small group sizes with up to 8 in a group, depending on the needs of the individual learners. Don't worry if you need extra help with your learning, we are really good at that and will make sure we do what it takes to meet your needs.

Our courses are on for up to two and a half days a week with half terms following KCC school calendar. Breakfast and lunch is available from our Grub Hub for those who want it, and if you have to get the bus or train to us, we may be able to refund your travel costs. We have a counsellor who comes in weekly to provide counselling or anger management for you if you need extra support.  We also have access to funds to help you buy work place clothing, gain extra qualifications or buy anything you need to help you get a job. We round off your learning journey with a graduation celebration where your friends and family can celebrate with you as you receive your certificates in style.
