General Description
A specialist college for students with a range of diagnoses including Aspergers Syndrome, HFA, Anxiety and Mental Health conditions. Situated in extensive grounds we provide academic and vocational educational programmes with an emphasis on future pathways such as employment, higher education and independent living. Our multi disciplinary approaches ensure our students achieve their goals and best possible outcomes for adulthood. We welcome students who would benefit from a managed environment, large therapeutic grounds and on onsite clinical team.

Curriculum
We offer a broad educational and life skills curriculum, providing all students with the best possible opportunities for positive progression into the worlds of employment, apprenticeships or further study at both FE or HE levels. Education is supported with integrated therapeutic support enabling students to fully access the curriculum offer. Academic subjects range from Entry to Level 3 and include Maths, English, Sciences, Art and Photography. Vocational choices include Horticulture and Landbased studies, Animal Care, Art & Photography, Motor Vehicle Engineering, Catering and Hospitality. All students engage in a bespoke work experience and careers programme using the Gatsby Benchmarks to raise our student's aspirations, promote access to all career pathways and to enable them to develop the skills and outlook they need to achieve. All students have access to and engage in a broad tutorial package that promotes emotional wellbeing, keeping safe and healthy, social media, relationships and alcohol and drugs awareness. Our students also take part in community action and entrepreneurship projects, where they play a vital part in the wider community.
Specialist Facilities
Extensive education resources and well-managed grounds support our curriculum of vocational training and academic qualifications. Our education centre comprises of environmentally managed classrooms, specialist curriculum teaching spaces and well-equipped modern vocational learning environments helping promote vocational and academic skills progression. Situated in the grounds of the college students have access to a range of outdoor sporting activities including, football pitch, all-weather tennis and basketball court, outdoor gymnasium, bushcraft zone and a mountainbike trail. Supporting our students to develop their independent living skills we have fully equipped kitchens, laundry room and communal relaxation spaces.
Seperate from the education centre in the main building, we have our homely residential living spaces. Students have modern individual living spaces and a selection of rooms are equipped with en-suite facilities. Students have access to two shared kitchen/dining areas and three communal lounge relaxation areas.
All students have access, depending on their individual needs, to the newly opened Willows building an on-site therapeutic support centre. This is staffed by a full-time therapy team which includes; occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and speech and language professionals.
