The voice of specialist further education

Introducing RARPA

An interactive workshop for curriculum managers and practitioners looking for a systematic way to plan provision for learners with SEND, monitor their progress and record their achievements.

RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement. It’s a five-stage process that provides you with a structured approach to underpin your non-qualification provision.

This workshop will:

  • explain what RARPA is and why it’s particularly useful in the context of SEND provision
  • introduce you to each of the 5 RARPA stages
  • offer you guidance on RARPA paperwork and processes
  • explore with you what ‘high quality’ means in relation to RARPA

As well as benefiting from the expertise of the specialist trainer, you will have the chance to share practice with other delegates and begin to work on actions to take forward your own provision.

The workshop is available as an external training session or can be delivered in-house for an individual provider.  It runs as a full day or half day workshop.

You can request this workshop as it suits you through our expression of interest form. Alternatively, you can call the office on 0115 854 1322.
