ZoomOpen to all Welsh specialist colleges and FEIs, this free one-hour session will be an opportunity to consider how we can best support learners with ALN to work towards an employment outcome. We will be exploring
- practical strategies for engaging with local employers to develop meaningful work experience opportunities
- how Training in Systematic Instruction (TSI) can help strengthen workplace support
- how to create meaningful experiences for lower ability learners to prepare them for either paid work or volunteering opportunities.
Colleagues from Elite Training Solutions and Coleg Elidyr will share their practice, after which there will be an opportunity to ask questions and compare approaches in use across Wales.
