An interactive workshop for curriculum managers and practitioners who are considering introducing RARPA or looking to improve their existing approach.

RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement.  It’s a staged process that helps you to establish learners’ starting points, set appropriate targets and goals, design relevant learning programmes and track learners’ progress and achievements.  It provides you with a structured approach to underpin your non-qualification provision.

This workshop will

  • explain what RARPA is and why it’s particularly useful in the context of SEND provision
  • introduce you to each of the RARPA stages and help you to determine what good practice looks like in each
  • offer you guidance on RARPA paperwork and processes
  • help you to work out next steps for your organisation in relation to RARPA

As well as benefiting from the expertise of the specialist trainer, you will have the chance to share practice with other delegates and begin to work on actions to take forward your own provision.
