At this event, Ofsted HMI, Maria Navarro, who has the policy lead for high needs inspections of FE and Skills providers, will be talking to Natspec member colleges about what to expect from inspection under the Education Inspection Framework.
Maria will be covering:
- preparing for inspection,
- the role of the nominee and the new shadow nominee,
- and inspection methodology including the deep dive approach as applied to high needs provision.
There will be a specific focus on quality of education and, within that, on curriculum.
This full-day event will be repeated across three different venues in Leeds (16 May), Warwick/Coventry (23 May) and London (24 May). We would strongly encourage at least one senior leader and the Ofsted nominee from each member college to attend.
