Effective self-assessment and quality improvement planning

Does your self-assessment report (SAR) give a truly accurate and self-critical picture of the work you do?  Does it give Ofsted – and other readers – the confidence that your organisation knows what it does well and what it needs to do better?  Is there a direct link between the findings of your self-assessment and the content of your quality improvement plan (QIP)?  Are you using peer review and development (PRD) activity to support quality improvement?

Recently retired Ofsted high needs lead inspector, Nigel Evans, will be working with delegates to help them strengthen both SAR and QIP so that they become key tools in facilitating quality improvement.

In order to get the most out of the workshop, each delegate will need to bring with them

  • a current or draft SAR and QIP
  • SAR and QIP extracts – sections from each relating to ‘Quality of teaching, learning and assessment’ for sharing with another delegate from a different setting
  • two differently-coloured highlighter pens – preferably green and orange.

Places for this event are limited to four delegates per provider. This is a Natspec members only event. You cannot use your promotional code for this event.

Cost

£50+VAT for full Natspec members
