ZoomAn online interactive training for managers and staff with responsibility for quality assuring specialist SEND provision. This training will consider key elements for the development of a quality cycle for a pathway / curriculum area. It will explore how to combine different quality assurance activities in order to build a rounded, accurate picture of the quality of provision and identify and put in place improvement actions where needed. It will support you to promote a whole-college approach to quality activities with the close involvement of staff and including learners in the process wherever possible.
The purpose of this training is to:
- examine the importance of establishing a shared understanding of what constitutes quality provision across team / department / organisation and look at ways to achieve that

- look at how to combine different quality assurance activities into an overall approach / cycle that enables managers to build a rounded / triangulated view of the quality of provision
- examine ways to record and analyse quality assurance findings (ensuring consistency of provision by looking for trends / patterns)
- make effective links between quality assurance and quality improvement.
