This webinar, presented by Franki Williams – Natspec Associate, will demonstrate how staff can use a series of person centred questions to explore what is important to the student at this present time and what is important for them to remain well, safe and supported.

Person centred approaches to planning education, care and support remain fundamental during the COVID-19 situation. Students have experienced significant changes to their routines and support systems and this continues as some students remain at home and some are planning to return to education in the following weeks or in September. Students will have their stories to tell about life in lockdown and beyond.

Person centred questions can support staff to keep the student at the centre of planning for the coming months and ensure what is really meaningful to them is not lost when there are so many practical details to get right.

This webinar will be of particular interest to:

  • Transition support staff
  • Provision managers
  • Admissions staff
  • IAG managers
  • Review teams
  • Staff holding annual reviews/EHCP reviews remotely during lockdown
  • Staff with a responsibility for welfare and safeguarding of students.

Cost
  • This event is free to Natspec full members.
  •  £25.00 + VAT – Transform members
  •  £40.00 +VAT – Non-members

Invoices will be sent to attendees after the event.
