Ofsted toolkit and inspection methodology: Insight from specialist college pilot inspections

The Ofsted Further Education and Skills Inspection Toolkit came into effect from 10 November. In preparation for implementation of the new Toolkit, Ofsted undertook a series of pilot inspections. Three specialist colleges, Condover College, Heart of Birmingham Vocational College and Rotherham Opportunities College, took part in the pilot programme. In this session, each college will share their experiences of the pilot, providing colleges with insight into the new inspection methodology. This is a free event and only for Natspec members and affiliates. 

Who is it for?

This training is for senior leaders and leaders with responsibility for quality of High Needs Provision and Ofsted inspections.

Training content

The aim of the training is to allow colleges to hear the experiences of three Natspec members who were involved in a pilot inspection to help them prepare for inspection using the new Ofsted FE Toolkit.
