This training only covers ILR data returns for students funded under the 16-19 funding formula and high need funding system, including those aged 19+ with EHCPs. The training is therefore aimed primarily at specialist providers working with high needs students, not other providers who attract adult education or apprenticeship funding.

Wading through ESFA and DfE funding and policy guidance, ILR specifications, business rules and checking for data errors can all be daunting, especially when your funding will depend on you getting it right.

This training is aimed at staff who have little or no experience of creating or returning Individual Learner Records (ILR) and require an introduction to the basics. It will also be of interest if you know you have to return files, but are not sure when or what needs to be returned. We will cover what it means to you and the funding for your organisation. If you have more experience with ILR, you may be interested in our ILR in Practice course. All dates available on our ILR resources page.

This workshop covers the input and timing requirements, explores common mistakes, and gives advice on methods to analyse and correct those issues. You will have the opportunity to learn some top tips, question our data specialists and interact with colleagues to get your burning questions answered.

Cost

Instead of charging per attendee, we are currently extending our usual fee to cover the whole college/organisation. We therefore encourage multiple colleagues to attend this event where relevant. All attendees must register individually and join using their own link. Multiple bookings from your organisation will not incur multiple charges.
