Natspec member discussion – VAT registration

Following the amendment to the HMRC guidance on charging VAT on fees, bringing most specialist colleges into scope, Natspec updated the VAT FAQ document in February 2026.

We know that many organisations are in the process of registering or backdating VAT invoices and payments and following a request to find out how colleges are handling the change, so we wanted to invite all Natspec members to join this session to discuss VAT registration.
