Mobile device management is the administration of mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablet computers, and laptops. It is essential for organisations that have multiple devices to manage on their network, such as iPads.
Having this set up means that you can “push” apps out to all devices remotely, manage updates and security while also being able to remotely lock/wipe devices. These tools are key when meeting data protection compliance. Martin Pistorius, technology advisor to the Karten Network, will take you through the important features of MDMs and some of the options available. There will also be examples of these in use from the TechAbility AT Champions. This webinar will be useful for those in IT support, but we’ll explain the terms to make it accessible to those working in other roles.
