This event is run as part of the ETF’s Centres for Excellence in SEND programme.

As part of the Community of Practice: ‘Preparing for Adulthood’ curriculum this free session, facilitated by Natspec, will focus on the implementation of the curriculum, the skills needed by tutors to deliver and the options for timetabling. It will also consider positive risk taking when planning a curriculum and how this impacts on success for learners.

Who is this for?

This Community of Practice will be of interest to a variety of people with many role jobs from SEND leaders and managers to curriculum leaders, transition managers, learning support managers and their teams as well as teaching staff and therapists.

Training aim

This webinar is designed to cover:

  • implementation of the curriculum, the skills needed by tutors to deliver and the options for timetabling
  • consider positive risk taking when planning a curriculum and how this impacts on success for learners
  • discuss shared approaches
  • provide opportunities to hear from providers who use different tools and approaches.

By joining this community of practice you will share effective practice and be part a network of practitioners working together to improve outcomes for learners with SEND.
