ZoomAs part of the Community of Practice: Mental health and SEND – Practical strategies for creating an inclusive environment for learners with Autism and mental health needs this free session, facilitated by Natspec, will be focusing on the skills of your LSAs to support your young people.
Who is this for?
Because our discussions are likely to be wide-ranging in nature, we anticipate that this Community of Practice will be of interest to a variety of people with many role jobs from SEND leaders and managers to curriculum leaders, transition managers, learning support managers and their teams as well as teaching staff and therapists.
Training aim
This webinar is designed to cover:
- identify how learning support assistants can work within a group setting
- allow reflection time for thinking about what we can learn from support staff and how they engage with young people
- discuss shared approaches
- provide opportunities to hear from providers who use different tools and approaches.
