This online event is for Natspec members who missed principals’ forum, or for those who were there but would like a reminder, would like to invite colleagues, or have further queries.
Clare Howard and Ruth Perry will present three of the key items from the day, giving you the opportunity to discuss some of the issues and ask questions.
The session will cover:
- The politics of specialist FE: a look back at some of the key issues and lessons for specialist FE in 2022, and a look forward to how we need to tailor our approach to lobbying and influencing the key players both at national level and local level. Your role as a college leader is essential in this process so join this session to share your thoughts
- Understanding your local context: a walk-through of the key data sources for every local authority, to help you understand the context in terms of demographics and supply / demand analysis that you will be working in going forward
- The health of your college: 18 areas for college leaders to keep an eye on – how would you rate your college health in these areas and what support can Natspec offer you? How can you link up with other Natspec members to support each other?
