This event is a Natspec members-only event, and is taking place in response to several requests from members of the Finance and HR forum regarding the practicalities of implementing the GDPR legislation.
Purpose: The workshop will examine the GDPR legislation as it has affected your college in practice, and encourage you to share your experience with other Natspec members, whilst also providing expert input on the law itself to answer your specific questions about implementation. How have you changed your practice regarding the retention of data on staff, students, families, prospective students, local authorities and partner organisations? How do you deal with questions and concerns regarding HR, finance, MIS, marketing and publicity, and what you publish on your website? How has GDPR affected internal communications between staff and how have you dealt with frustrations?
Information will be confidential to members and not shared outside the meeting.
