This event is a FREE Natspec members-only event, for finance and business managers and any other member of staff with an interest in the DfE funding consultation on the high needs funding system.
The purpose of the network is to share ideas, good practice and discuss issues relating to specialist college finance matters, including ESFA and LA contracts, internal budgeting and forecasting, VAT, fee levels and other topics as and when required.
The July meeting will cover the current DfE consultation on the financial arrangements for young people with SEND and the high needs funding system. We will discuss evidence and examples of how the financial arrangements have a negative impact on achieving outcomes, and delegates will be able to contribute to the overall Natspec response as well as shaping views for their own individual submission. We will also discuss the proposal to introduce a national template for presenting fees as part of LA contracts.
