In this free webinar, Beej Kaczmarczyk will explore the main sources of funding for young people and adults with additional learning support needs, but who are not funded through the high needs funding system.
We will cover 16-19 study programme funding including disadvantage funding, learning support for adults funded by the Adult Education Budget and Advanced Learner Loans Bursary, and learning support funding for apprenticeships.
Beej, who is an experienced consultant and trainer, with expensive experience in the FE sector with colleges and private training providers, will also advise on how learning support managers can make best use of these funds, and how to make the business case for securing a greater share of these funds for delivery of support to learners with additional needs. We will also cover issues relating to funding changes during Covid and there will be time during the session for discussion and questions.
