The Natspec employment network is a free, members-only event hosted by Paul Cook, Director for Employment on the Natspec board, and Ruth Perry, Senior Policy Manager.
Our main focus for this meeting is on supported internships (SIs). We will be joined by colleagues from BASE and NDTi who will be telling us about the work of the government-funded Internships Work consortium and introducing us to the new Supported Internship Quality Framework. You don’t need to be delivering supported internships to benefit from this opportunity. Join us if you are thinking about offering SIs in the future or if you want to reflect on quality assurance of your own pathways to employment.
As usual, we will also have an update on disability employment issues nationally and locally and there will be chance to share ideas and experiences.
