Effective strategies to manage communication positively

This session, facilitated by Natspec, will establish effective methods of understanding communication through the framework of zones of regulation. This will be an opportunity to listen to strategies to observe learning and communicate with learners in their own space.

Who is this for?

The session is for practitioners and managers in post 16 settings.

Training aim

This training is intended to invite engagement from participants to understand the challenges faced in settings to support better understanding of underlying support needs for learners. This will touch on any adverse childhood experiences, social care input or involvement with youth justice services.

Outcomes

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

• Recognise micro expressions within their student cohort
• Be able to reflect on external factors affecting learning for your learners
