ZoomAs part of the Community of Practice: Mental health and SEND – Practical strategies for creating an inclusive environment for learners with Autism and mental health needs this free session, facilitated by Natspec, will look at what community support you are aware of and how you access this. This could be through local mental health charities or links into the autism strategy with your local authority. This session will focus in on the community experience of our young people and what we know about this. Essentially this will enable better support for the young people when they are in college.
Who is this for?
Because our discussions are likely to be wide-ranging in nature, we anticipate that this Community of Practice will be of interest to a variety of people with many role jobs from SEND leaders and managers to curriculum leaders, transition managers, learning support managers and their teams as well as teaching staff and therapists.
