This event is run as part of the ETF’s Centres for Excellence in SEND programme.

This session, facilitated by Natspec, explores how well-being and resilience can be developed across the curriculum with learners with SEND including SEMH. It will include strategies to support conversations with learners about managing their own anxiety and increase their positive self-belief.

Who is this for?

This session is for educational practitioners, curriculum managers, learning support staff, mentors, job coaches.

Training aim

This training will explore the importance of creating opportunities for well-being and resilience across the curriculum for learners with SEND. It will consider the challenges that this cohort of learners experience and how educational practitioners can enable learners to develop their own strategies to support resilience as they move into adult life.

Outcomes

You will have the knowledge and confidence to:

  • understand the importance of well-being and resilience for learners with SEND/SEMH,
  • explore strategies for developing well-being and resilience for learners with SEND/SEMH.
