Thursday 13 May

a woman engages in a conversation with colleagues around a round table

Introduction: 9.45am

Join us by 9.45am each morning to hear the latest news and announcements about the day’s activities.

Keynote: 10.00am

The Welsh ALN Code has now been published. Our panel will discuss what it means for young people, local authorities and mainstream and specialist further education providers, and how colleges can best-prepare for the ALN Act implementation. Networking sessions following the panel discussion will bring together English and Welsh colleges to explore and compare their practice.

Short films: 11.50am

Two bite-sized films on topics relevant to Natspec members will be shown, followed by a break.

Informal networking: 12.15pm

An opportunity to chat informally in a breakout room with colleagues with shared interests. Thursday’s session will be an opportunity to meet different colleagues in an informal setting. Pick a breakout room at random and find out what you all have in common – over coffee and cake if you prefer!

Awards Ceremony: 2.00pm

We announce the winners of the 2021 Natspec Awards.
